Gail Inspires Personal Growth
Gail Showalter is a heartwarming, moving, and genuine speaker and storyteller. Her passion is to assist others in becoming the person God imagined them to be when He first created them.
Gail inspires her audiences to cultivate and grow their inner strengths with her artfully told personal stories.
Gail was a single mother of three for sixteen years before she married Sam in 1996. She knows the struggles, the heartaches, and the day to day challenges of being single and head of a household. During her years as a single mom she
developed spiritual strength that lay dormant before. Though she is happily remarried, her heart’s desire is to offer seeds of guidance to single moms.
Her passion for single moms motivated her to establish SMORE for Women: Single Moms Overjoyed, Rejuvenated, Empowered! Gail is available to serve as a facilitator for the implementation of a Single Mom Saturday Day of Blessings program for your group.
In her presentations, Gail emphasizes that just as every tree is different so are we, and each with our own special purpose. She stresses how important it is to put down your roots in fertile soil and grow the strengths of your true person. She urges her audiences to truly know themselves so that they can become “like trees planted along a riverbank with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8
One of Gail’s stories appears in Laundry Tales to Lighten Your Load by Melissa Howell, Angie Peters and the Celebrate Moms Team. This book takes a lighthearted look at the ups and downs of doing everyone’s least favorite chore—laundry. Thirty-nine authors share their insights, tips, and humorous moments from the laundry room. It is a great gift for young mothers.
Women sometimes feel they are in this all by themselves. Through "Laundry Tales" they find others, just like themselves, who have struggled with loneliness, frustration....and a burning desire to find that missing sock!
